Mezzanine Floor Installation at Flicka Foundation Mabe

We recently completed a mezzanine floor installation at the Flicka Foundation Donkey Sanctuary in Mabe, creating a sturdy and functional upper level inside a 15m x 40m barn—elevated 4m above the ground.

Built for strength and durability, we used 8×8 support posts, 9×2 joists, and a full caberfloor system with a ring beam for extra stability. To enhance the space, we installed 6×1 cladding, forming a new internal wall with windows to bring in natural light.
